Powering the Future with Advanced Nuclear Innovation
Founded in 2013, Terrestrial Energy is a trailblazing technology company driving innovation at the core of the global clean energy transition. We are committed to delivering reliable, zero-emission, and economically viable energy through a transformative next-generation reactor design—one that redefines what is possible in nuclear power.
As the world grapples with the accelerating climate crisis and the urgent need for deep decarbonization, one truth is becoming increasingly clear: transforming how we generate energy is essential. Global energy demand is rising steadily, fueled by population growth, industrial development, and a commitment to higher living standards. Yet, our dependence on fossil fuels continues to threaten both climate stability and ecological integrity.
In this context, nuclear energy has re-emerged as a critical pillar of a sustainable, resilient, and low-carbon global energy system. Unlike intermittent renewable sources, nuclear offers constant, high-output, and low-carbon power that can scale to meet industrial and grid-level demand—day and night, in any season.
Terrestrial Energy is answering this call with bold, groundbreaking technology that represents a true leap forward in nuclear energy design. We are not making incremental improvements to outdated infrastructure—we are delivering a complete reinvention of nuclear power with our Integral Molten Salt Reactor (IMSR®).
At the heart of our innovation is the use of molten salt as both coolant and fuel, enabling a compact, efficient, and inherently safe reactor design. This revolutionary approach marks a sharp departure from traditional water-cooled reactors that have seen only modest design changes in more than six decades.
The IMSR® delivers:
These attributes make the IMSR® uniquely positioned to serve not only utilities but also a wide array of industrial energy users who require clean, high-temperature heat—such as steel, cement, chemical, and hydrogen production.
Our technology is not theoretical—it builds upon decades of proven molten salt research and is engineered with a clear focus on regulatory compliance, manufacturability, and commercial deployment. With strong momentum and a defined path to market, Terrestrial Energy is leading the way toward a new generation of nuclear power that is affordable, adaptable, and sustainable.
In the face of mounting environmental challenges and an increasingly urgent energy transition, Terrestrial Energy offers a practical, powerful, and scalable solution. The time for transformative energy innovation is now—and we are proud to be at the forefront of that change.
Join us in reshaping the energy future—cleaner, smarter, and built to last.

Each Syntholene facility will produce 8.6 million liters of synthetic jet fuel per day, using a proprietary process that combines advanced fuel production with carbon and methane capture from ocean water. These facilities are designed to be modular and mobile—deployed at scale on ships, giving them the flexibility to operate across international waters and closer to carbon-rich ocean zones.
By building and operating 300 such floating facilities, Syntholene Energy can produce enough clean synthetic fuel to fully decarbonize the entire global aviation industry—eliminating one of the most difficult-to-abate sources of emissions. And that’s just the beginning. Aviation is only one piece of the global emissions puzzle. Syntholene’s technology offers a roadmap to decarbonizing a range of hard-to-electrify sectors.
More Than Just Optics: Real Climate Solutions
Despite the growth in wind and solar energy, these sources alone will not significantly impact global emissions in time. While they play a role in the broader energy mix, their current deployment is often more about optics or capturing government subsidies than delivering deep, system-wide carbon reductions.
In contrast, the world will continue to rely on hydrocarbons for decades to come. This reality demands solutions that work within existing energy infrastructure while radically reducing emissions. That’s where Syntholene's ocean-based carbon capture and hydrogen fuel synthesis comes in.
By removing CO₂ directly from the oceans—where it is more concentrated than in the atmosphere—and converting it into carbon-neutral synthetic fuel, Syntholene’s process not only produces clean energy but also helps reverse ocean acidification, a key driver of coral reef degradation.
Carbon-Neutral Fuel at Fossil Fuel Prices
For synthetic fuels to replace fossil fuels at scale, they must be cost-competitive. Syntholene’s technology is engineered for efficiency and scalability, targeting price parity or better compared to conventional fossil fuels. This economic advantage makes global adoption not just environmentally necessary—but commercially inevitable.
The next 10 years are critical. Climate scientists and policymakers agree: what we do in this decade will shape the future of our planet. Syntholene Energy is bringing bold, practical, and high-impact technologies to the table.
We have the tools. We have the technology. Now, we must act.

TRANSACT ENERGY: Sustainably transforms waste into useful commodities, entirely avoiding incineration. Strategically committed to focusing its efforts on the global deployment and advancement of its innovative sustainable recycling facilities, which transform landfills into valuable resources. These cutting-edge, zero-emissions Waste Optimization Plants—branded as ZEWOP™—are designed to deliver holistic benefits across environmental, economic, social, and cultural dimensions. By converting municipal solid waste (MSW) into usable energy and materials, ZEWOP™ facilities act as sustainable engines that drive the circular economy, reinvigorating the communities they serve.
One of the most transformative aspects of this model is its reversal of traditional waste management economics: municipalities can now be compensated for their waste, instead of incurring the high costs typically associated with its disposal. This not only alleviates financial burdens on local governments but also incentivizes environmentally responsible practices.
Additionally, the ZEWOP™ platform provides a flexible framework for integrating advanced renewable energy technologies—many of which TransAct has been developing since its inception. These include break throughs in geothermal, vertical farming, and eliminates the need for incineration in waste processing, which enhance the overall efficiency and sustainability of each plant. Through this bold initiative, TransAct is positioning itself as a global leader in waste-to-resource innovation, helping communities turn a major environmental liability into a lasting asset.
